Type  Domain Description  This entry represents a domain found in the actin-depolymerising factors (ADF), the villin/gelsolin family members and the C-terminal of the Sec23/Sec24 proteins. It consists the mixed beta-sheet structure. The ADF-H (actin-depolymerising factor homology) domain is an ~150-amino acid motif that is present in three phylogenetically distinct classes of eukaryotic actin-binding proteins [, , ]. This domain share structural similarity with another set of actin binding proteins, villin and gelsolin, and the C-terminal of the Sec23/Sec24 proteins.
